Angela Slatter is the award-winning author of The Girl with No Hands and Other TalesSourdough and Other Stories,The Bitterwood Bible and Other RecountingsBlack-Winged Angels and the novella Of Sorrow and Such. She has an MA and a PhD in Creative Writing, and was the Katharine Susannah Prichard Established Writer-in-Residence this year. Her debut novel Vigil will be released by Jo Fletcher Books in 2016, and the sequel, Corpselight, in 2017.

Gary Kemble has spent his life telling stories. He wrote, illustrated and self-published his first story (Back from the Grave) aged eight. 

His award-winning short fiction has been published in magazines and anthologies in Australia and abroad, and his non-fiction has appeared in newspapers, magazines and online. Born in England and raised in Brisbane, Gary now lives in Edinburgh with his wife and kids.
