Open in MapsMark Smith lives on Victoria’s Surf Coast where he writes and runs outdoor education programs for young adults. His writing has won a number of awards and has appeared in Best Australian Stories, Review of Australian Fiction and The Big Issue. The Road to Winter is his first book.
Christopher Currie is a writer and bookseller from Brisbane, whose fiction has appeared in anthologies and journals internationally. His first book, for adults, The Ottoman Motel, was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Book Prize and the Queensland Literary Awards. Clancy of the Undertow is his first novel for young adults.
As a child Elizabeth discovered the world through books. She has a B.A. in Humanities — triple major (with one and a half twists) in Philosophy, Literature and Studies in Western Traditions. She currently live on the Sunshine Coast with her husband, three mini ninja’s (cleverly disguised as boys), a dog and a snake.
Joy Lawn is a reviewer who writes about children’s literature for The Australian, Books+ Publishing, Australian Book Review and Magpies magazine. She is the current chair of the judging panel of the children’s literature category of the Queensland Literary Awards.
