Chris Cleave is the author of the international bestsellers Incendiary, The Other Hand, and Gold. The Other Hand sat in the New York Times Top Ten for over a year under the US title, Little Bee, and his books have been shortlisted twice for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize. Chris is a regular newspaper and broadcast contributor to the cultural debate on parenting, literature and human rights. He lives in Kingston-upon-Thames with his wife and three children.
