Jill Eddington

Jill Eddington joined University of Queensland Press in March this year as CE0. Jill has a long association with the literary sector nationally. She is particularly known for her seven years as Director at Byron Bay Writers Festival and, most recently, as the Director, Literature at the Australia Council for the Arts.

Cheryl Taylor, B.A. Hons (Qld), MA (Leeds) Ph. D. (JCU) lectured in English and other literatures in the School of Humanities at James Cook University in Townsville for many years before retiring as an Associate Professor in 2006. From 2008 to 2015 she was a casual lecturer in the School of Humanities at Griffith University, where she is currently an Adjunct Research Fellow. She has edited books and published articles on Middle English, Medieval Latin, and Australian literature, and was was a cofounder of the AustLit subset, Writing the Tropical North.
