Sam Crosby is executive director of the McKell Institute. He previously served as corporate and government affairs manager for Johnson & Johnson, senior advisor and chief of staff to a number of cabinet ministers in the NSW state government and advisor to former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

Professor Brian Head

Professor Brian Head joined the University of Queensland in 2007 after holding senior roles in government, the NGO sector, and other universities. He is the author or editor of several books and numerous articles on public management, good governance, social issues and environmental policy. His major interests are evidence-based policy, complex policy problems, program evaluation, collaboration, accountability and leadership. He is committed to building closer links between the research and policy sectors.
