Kate Forsyth

Kate Forsyth wrote her first novel aged seven, and has now sold more than a million copies around the world. Her novels include The Beast’s GardenThe Wild Girl, and Bitter Greens, which won the 2015 American Library Association Award for Best Historical Fiction. Kate’s children’s novels include The Impossible QuestThe Puzzle Ring and The Gypsy Crown. Named one of Australia’s Favourite 15 Novelists, Kate has a doctorate in fairy tale studies and is an accredited master storyteller.

Kim Wilkins

Kim Wilkins

Dr Kim Wilkins was born in London and grew up in south-east Queensland. She is the author of more than 20 novels for adults and children, and writes across genres both under her own name and her pseudonym Kimberley Freeman. In 2012, she passed two million words of fiction in print, has publications in more than a dozen languages, and has been a bestseller in the United States. She has degrees in literature and creative writing, and is a senior lecturer in writing at the University of Queensland.
