BOOKING FEES: A booking fee of $3 per transaction applies. No additional fees are charged when redeeming your Pass.

A pass does not allow access to workshops, literary speed dating, or Festival highlights. A day pass can only be used across the days outlined in the pass title.  A day pass is valid for up to 6 events. A 2 day pass is valid for up to 12 events. A 3 day pass is valid for up to 18 events. A day pass allows access to 1 ticket per session redeemed. UPLIT cannot refund against unused, or partly unused, passes. 

FAQ about ticketing

HOW DO I BOOK? The easiest way to book is online. Visit our program, purchase tickets and either show them on your phone, or print out and bring them to the Festival.

In person: BWF's Box Office is located at the State Library of Queensland  and will be manned during the festival from 6-10 September. Opening hours are from one hour prior to the first event right through until the commencement of the final event, each day of the Festival.

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT? Yes, you'll need to create your own account when booking tickets this year. You'll be asked to create an account when checking out during your ticket purchase, or you can create one here. During check out, add your details under the 'New Customer' option. Fill in all the details and create a secure password.

HOW DO I LOG IN TO MY ACCOUNT?  Select 'My Account' by clicking the human icon at the top of the page. Fill in your email address and password and select 'Log In'.

HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?  Select 'My Account' at the top of the page. Select 'Forgotten your log in?' and enter your email address. A temporary password will be emailed to you. Log back in to your account using your temporary password - you will immediately be asked to create a new password. You can also change your password by logging in to your account and selecting 'edit your details'.

ARE THERE ARE ANY BOOKING FEES?  Yes, there is a fixed fee of $3 per booking.

HOW DO I SELECT TICKETS?  Select your event from the program. Specify the number of tickets and ticket types you want from the pricing list. Select 'Add to Cart'. To add extra sessions, selct 'Browse for further events'. This will take you back to the online program. To make changes to your cart, select 'Cart' at the top of the page. Select 'Edit Cart', and amend your order as required. Select 'Update'. To empty your cart, select 'Clear'. 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR CONCESSION RATES?  Concessions apply to full-time students, Health Care Card holders, pensioners and seniors. Proof of concession may be required when booking and at your event,

CAN I EXCHANGE OR GET A REFUND? No refunds or exchanges are possible unless the Festival has cancelled your event. 

HOW CAN I ACCESS FESTIVAL FRIEND PRICES TO EVENTS?  Become a Festival Friend here for just $50 - you'll receive a limited edition tote bag and other special treats throughout the year. If you're planning on attending multiple events, consider buying a Festival Friend Bundle, which comes with a Festival Friend membership, a tote bag, and a 3 Day Pass to the Festival. 

WHAT IF I'VE LOST MY TICKET?  Log in to your account here. An option for 'Receipt' or 'Print Tickets' will appear. Select 'Print Tickets' and you'll be able to print and/or save your tickets. Alternatively, you can call our Box Office on 07 3255 0254 from 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

CAN I BUY A GIFT VOUCHER? We recommend you purchase one of our Day Passes and encourage your gift recipient to redeem it for their chosen events as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment at missing out on a ticket.
